I like to think I’m a fairly composed person (I’m sure my husband would disagree), yet I can’t help but melt into a googly-eyed puddle in the presence of Emma Block’s whimsical illustrations. They are, in my humble opinion, what every girly-girl’s (and let’s face it, there’s one inside all of us) dreams are made of – pastel colors, intricate details and a dash of fashion inspiration. And though I may feel compelled to wallpaper my entire apartment in these playful prints, I think the empty wall space above my vanity would make the perfect home for the Style Icon series (Edie, Audrey, Brigitte – all the usual suspects). Oh, and it gets better: Emma is also available for commissions – personalized stationery anyone? Or maybe, a quirky alternative to a traditional wedding invite?
