Velvet is one of those fabrics that always comes back into style every.single.fall without fail. This season, I’m staying away from dresses which can sometimes be reminiscent of bad ’80s fashion and instead going with well-tailored trousers like this look, below. I love the way that she married the luxe velvet with a sharp tuxedo shirt which is ultra-masculine, but throws in quintessentially feminine cat eye sunnies and thin strappy sandals to balance it all out.
