I just had five girlfriends have babies, and I sent each of them a Goatmilk onesie. Hands down, friends and business partners Tania Vargas and Roland Bello, creators of Goatmilk Kidware, make the most covetable skivvies out there. One look at the European-inspired underpinnings, and you’ll want to buy everything—each little piece is so soft and yummy (and made from comfy, 100% organic cotton).

Vargas and Bello have overlooked no detail. The nostalgic-feeling clothes are beautifully form-fitted and recall functional, old-timey values; they posses an heirloom quality that one rarely comes across anymore. There is a sweet pointelle pattern and a lovely variegated rib, but my favorite is the rather spare-looking drop needle rib. The colors are on the quiet side—you can chose from white, heathered grey, navy and rose. “We want to stick to our basic, neutral palette, but then add a pattern each season that we think is still within the minimal feel,” explains Vargas. “Classics like tartan for fall, and in the spring, we have a black and cream stripe that is reminiscent of 1920s Paris.”

If you happen to be in NYC, run to the Goatmilk pop-up store at 524 Hudson Street (through December 4th) and stock up. Otherwise, check out their beautiful site.
