Chace Crawford/Photo by Bauer Griffin
Spotted. C and P (Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley, that is) brave the wet and chilly weather to film scenes for Gossip Girl. I love how Chace is donning one of spring’s biggest trends for men: plaid. The amazing part is he manages to pull off this trend-conscious ensemble without looking like he meant to. You can, too.
To get same look as Chace’s plaid shirt, try these two options by Ralph Lauren and Martin Gordon. Next, throw on this amazing look-a-like brown jacket from French Connection. You definitely need a pair of jeans with a dark wash, like this amazingly affordable pair by Levi’s. And you can’t forget those dapper shoes he’s wearing, they totally make the look. With these Allen Edmonds Oxfords, you’ll be the next big thing on the Upper East Side.

We have been taking our cues from the super-stylish reality TV celebrity stars for a few seasons now, and it only gets better when you can draw inspiration from their fashion forward looks and turn them eco-conscious. Not sure where to start? Don’t worry, it’s all broken down for you in this post.

Get the very classic look sported above by the lovable Lauren Conrad by incorporating pieces from Stella McCartney. The designer is known for her clean and classic cuts that transcend time and trend. If you can only splurge on one piece, go for the blazer- it will win its worth over and over again, season after season.
Prefer the edgy chic look on Audrina Patridge? No problem. To get this casual street chic look, opt for a pair of skinny jeans from Levi’s that you can distress yourself and a super comfy slouchy top from SUST.

Whitney Port came to Manhattan as an innocent girl from out West, but she quickly showed us that she has the style sense to carry herself through the fierce fashion world. Get this fashion-forward look with draped separates and a great pair of statement heels. Style tip: layer a wide-neck short dress under the slouchy jodhpurs for a little more of an interesting look.
Olivia Palermo epitimizes the ‘Manhattan girl in fashion’ every girl dreams of becoming! Her style is effortless and always classy. Here she strikes a perfect balance of casual street chic with industry professional. Get her look with striped basics from American Apparel, and a classic mini skirt from Stella McCartney.
Keep your eye on these fashionitas for continuously evolving style and be sure to incorporate your new essentials from an eco-minded label to keep fashion moving forward.

Rachel Bilson in Utility Jacket
Spring is here, and reporting for duty! Actress Rachel Bilson was spotted wearing an army green utility jacket on her way to a casting in Santa Monica on February 26, 2010. I know what you might be thinking… Really? An army jacket? Trust me, this jacket is a must-have. This spring, military is making a strong statement and I have to say… I am very excited about it! (I already have two). If you don’t believe me, take a look at the Spring 2010 runways.
The great thing about this trend? You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg. There are so many options I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s start with this linen one by Victoria’s Secret for only $49.50. If money is no object, you’ll love this cropped version with detailed shoulder patches by Juicy Couture for $198.00. So green isn’t your color… So what? You can still wear this trend in another color, like this grey one from Old Navy for only $39.50.
The trick to wearing this look is to balance the masculinity of the jacket by pairing it with feminine pieces. Bilson passes this test with flying colors. She smartly pairs her jacket and trousers with a flowy scarf and nude pumps. Try this scarf from Love Quotes (also another celebrity favorite) and these basic nude pumps by Milan. If you want something more funky on your feet, you’ll love these cage sandals by Jimmy Choo or these zip-front wedges by Twelfth Street.

Milan Pump from Piperlime, $110

Chloe Marcie Leather Satchel, $1,595
Bilson finishes the look with her Chloe Marcie Bag, but if you want a similar one without breaking the bank, take a look at this equally chic brown leather satchel by Botkier.

Carrey Mulligan gave everyone An Education at the 2010 SAG Awards, in how to dress. Stunning in her scarlet Lanvin gown and Fred Leighton jewels, we instantly fell in love with this look, and are bringing you the CliffsNotes version on how to put together a similar style.
This lovely red strapless formal gown by Alyce Designs is very similar. As is this red silk Georgette dress, by Nicole Miller. I’m also really digging this handmade dress from Etsy, which – while different – leaves a similar, but less formal (more fun) impression.
To replicate Carrey’s lovely Lanvin brooch, we recommend this piece by Daisy Days. And these awesome snake earrings, from Lauren by Ralph Lauren. To finish this smart ensemble, we chose this blush clutch from J. Furmani.
