Miguel Caballero Clothing
I mean it. Not from a hidden place across the street or over the grassy knoll. Walk right up to this person and shoot him in the gut. You might even let him know about it first so he can stop walking for a second and take the bullet. It’s the courteous thing to do.
Miguel Caballero clothing is not intended for casual gunfire (except for his employees; see the video below). Rather, it was designed to offer stylish apparel with maximum protection. The level of protection ranges from motorcyclists and police to world leaders and military personnel. These lightweight garments can actually resist the impact of automatic weapons! The goal of the Columbian designer, also dubbed the Armored Armani, is to protect the world’s VIPs with fashion forward clothing, including lightweight and practical alternatives to the bulletproof vest.

I applaud Caballero’s success in this modern and unfortunately dangerous world. However, I can’t help but think Chris Rock had it right when he spoke so eloquently on the idea of bullet control:

I recently took up surfing. I’ve lived in California long enough. What’s funny is watching a grown man, yours truly, eat sand for breakfast. When I went to buy my gear I was told that I should think of surfboards like guitars: do I want to play electric or acoustic? Ideally, I would like to play both but then I though about it. Surfing is so stylish…so do I want to be Eddie Van Halen or Jim Croce? These were the two images that came to mind:

Hands down I want to be the 2nd guy, The Dude of the ocean! So I decided to get a longboard and a full body wetsuit and let my inner hippie guide me to shore. Too bad the water is freezing in L.A. I can’t wait for spring and summer so that maybe I’ll get to wear those flowery board shorts. Here are a few more O’Neill shorts to stock up on for the summer:

I am not sure which is more dangerous…texting while driving or seeing billboards of Megan Fox while driving. But texting someone about the Megan Fox billboard you are driving past sounds as gnarly as surfing with a chainsaw. That’s why we’ve served the ads up here on our beso blog. Here are a few shots from the new ad campaign for Emporio Armani women’s underwear and Armani Jeans for Spring/Summer 2010.

The new advertising campaign was shot in Los Angeles by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and will appear in fashion magazines and on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo. You’re welcome.

The Italian-designed collection, Bacco Bucci, offers a wide variety of classic and modern European shoe styles. After perusing their website, which is also home of Mezlan shoes, I came up with a couple favorites. The boot is fairly tame but a good looking shoe. As for the sandals, I feel we all need a biblical pair of kicks at some point in our lives.

TAG Heuer has created the new Monaco Calibre 12 Chronograph Gulf Limited Edition Watch, which debuted at Baselworld 2009. It was designed to celebrate the partnership between TAG Heuer and Gulf Oil. The timepiece will be distributed in a limited edition of 5000 timepieces, a relatively small numbered compared to the other TAG Heuer’s watch collections. You’ll need to contact your local TAG Heuer retailer for purchase information.
The dial has a vintage effect as it uses as main inspiration the old model of Porsche Gulf 917K, displaying an orange and blue stripe on the grey dial. The date window is located at the 6 o’clock position, the traditional function of hour, minute and second in the middle of the dial and two other sub-dials, one indicating the small-seconds counter, while the other the minute counter. The watch is equipped with TAG Heuer’s exclusively designed Calibre 12 Automatic Chronograph movement and is available on a standard black alligator leather strap , to achieve that casual sporty style.
