Cinco De Mayo Inspired (Mayan Prints, Margaritas, et al)

With Cinco de Mayo soon approaching, it’s only appropriate to get some Mexican inspired shopping ideas on here. My first suggestion would be buy a ticket and go there. That’s what I would do if I had an actual budget to work with. But since I don’t, I’ll opt for some Mayan prints and margaritas. In the summer, it’s pretty much all I wear/do. I have sometimes taken the trend too far and end up looking like I’m wearing a tablecloths from Chevy’s. Now I try to wear only one inspired item at a time. Here are a few good ones, including the prettiest tequila I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking.

clockwise, l-r: VINTAGE EMBROIDERED MEXICAN TUNIC, $68.00, Market Publique; SKULL AND MEXICAN CHARM BEADED DROP EARRINGS, $18.18, Asos; STELA 9 HACIENDA BACKPACK, $172.00, Boutique to You; CLASE AZUL REPOSADO TEQUILA, $36.00, Mel & Rose.

Dudeeee – that is SUCH a good bottle. Is the stuff inside good, too? I might buy this just because it’s so pretty.
