Last night I went to my local CVS to pick up a few beauty items (okay, dry shampoo). As I was approaching the aisle, I heard the sound of a spraying can of—hmmm, I thought to myself as it continued to spray for what seemed like an eternity. Maybe a can fell over? As I turned the corner of the aisle, there stood a well-dressed, put-together girl spraying her hair. She barely even looked when I stopped dead in my tracks. She just kept tousling and spraying. She then put the can back on the shelf and confidently left the aisle. It was clear to me she was headed to a date (also, it was 7:50pm which is prime for an 8pm dinner date). P.S. I was in my pajamas.
Now look, I personally would have been mortified if I was caught in the act of ‘stealing’ hairspray—but hey, we’re all different. I think I’d rather plan to have purse-sized products on hand for my last minute flyaways. To be completely candid, I have stopped in a Sephora to put on a new lipstick for a date, so I guess it isn’t much different? If you don’t want to be caught in the hair aisle, load up on these products that are made for a night out.
