When I first caught wind that over the knee boots were going to make a big statement this season, my first though was, “Uh-oh.” The last thing I wanted to see was a bunch of nice young ladies strutting around like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. My favorite pair this season are Stuart Weitzman’s OTK wedge boots. They have a fabulous enamel buckle and the top, and just the smallest bit of patent leather piping around the heel. The look is urban, but polished. Plus, this is a style that I would wear during the daytime. At $598, they’ll set you back a bit, but I believe their versatility makes up for the price.
Rampage Kamron OTK Boots
On a budget? Then definitely check out Rampage’s Kamron OTK boots. They’re only $80, but they certainly don’t look it! In rich black suede, they can be worn tall or cuffed.
Tip: Wear your OTK boots with opaque tights for a more chic, less street, look. If you must go sheer, save if for a night on the town when you really want to stand out and look sexy!
