At the end of last year, The Limited unveiled a new store concept called Eloquii, and I totally missed the memo. It’s reasonably-priced, well-tailored plus-size fashion, and it’s all available online: Smart move, because the plus-size demographic is very under-served. (Know who is really under-served? Women in the size 12 to 14 bucket who aren’t plus, but need a different silhouette than a piece that was constructed for a size 2 and then merely scaled up.) Women who are tall are overlooked, too—I’ve never understand that. Almost everyone benefits from a turn at the tailor, so just cut all pants long. Where do you guys find gaps in the market?
