This Wednesday would have marked Julia Childs’ 100th birthday. Crazy to think that the woman who pretty much single handedly brought the art of French cooking to our neck of the woods didn’t start cooking herself until she was 36! All the more reason why she is the inspiration behind this week’s Link Love. On the menu: a recipe for handmade flavored butter – because what would French cooking be without loads of butter? A stunning food blog out of Médoc, France – the recipes are peppered between snippets of country life and the author’s very photogenic family. And of course, an abundance of recipes to try out – our personal favorite being of the breakfast variety: a classic French canapè with roasted asparagus and poached eggs, heaven. Bon Appétit!
