I just spent a lot of money at Gap: I know they’re pretty much always running some sort of deal, but this particular one—30 percent with code GAPFRIENDS at checkout through tonight (it’s happening in store, too)—hit at precisely the moment when I was looking to upgrade my underwear drawer. TMI perhaps, but I abandoned Hanky Panky thongs a few years ago for Gap’s “Sexy Lace Girlshorts.” They’re just the jam: Thin, comfortable, and super flattering. Mind: They also do a cut that looks similar but it’s not the same thing—it’s called the Tanga, and it rides up in all the wrong places (in my experience). I also bought some of the cotton ultra low girl shorts, since I’ve been wanting to try those and they happened to have them in my size (they’re always sold-out), and then naturally, I couldn’t resist this berry shade of the broken-in khakis, which have become my favorite pants this Summer. Oh, and then I wanted to try the Slim Cut Pant in cobalt. And have you seen their shoes lately? Super cute stuff. Point is, by the time, I got to check-out, I was quite grateful for the coupon. Are there any other underwear brands you guys love? I’m kind of hoping that the cottons ones prove to be my favorites since I’m tired of all the non-organic materials.

Ummm, those embroidered loafers are insane! And as far as underwear goes – On Gossamer will forever be my favorite – the Cabana Cotton collection is super comfortable.
So, my name is also Kate, and I also love On Gossamer. Thanks for the Cabana rec!
