7 for All Mankind's Roxanne skinny jeans, $198.

The Cut just posted an interesting story called “Jeggings and Other Scary Denim Garments to Proliferate for Fall.“  The story muses that skin tight denim has slipped in as the next trend.  What it doesn’t concede is that the look is actually pretty cute.

Already, top brands are producing stretch skinny jeans, and the newest ones are ripped and even acid-washed.  Think skinny jeans to the extreme.  The reviews seem mixed so far, but one thing is clear: fashion is demanding that the trend move forward.

I’m not sure I will ever let mine get as tight as Whitney Port’s, but I did just snap up a great-fitting pair of Roxanne skinny jeans from 7 for All Mankind.  They have just the right amount of stretch with a few rips, which I think are very rock ‘n roll.
