In the wake of all the craziness surrounding the TomKat fiasco, I felt compelled to take a second look at Holmes and Yang – the brainchild of Katie Holmes and mega-stylist Jeanne Yang. Not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical about yet ANOTHER celebrity-designed line, especially one that launched as an über high-fashion label with sky-high price points to match. But lo and behold, my heart was aflutter at the sight of the ladies’ beautifully edited collection of dresses, blouses, jackets and a few choice handbags, all boasting elegant lines and intricate details throughout. Not to mention, Katie’s new-found single-girl-kicking-ass vibe makes anything she whips up that much more enticing. The Fall 2013 collection will debut at New York Fashion Week this September – always a good sign for a budding brand, celebrity endorsed or not. Final Verdict: I think I might be falling hard for H&Y, thoughts?
