Introducing…Jamil V. Moen
(Yep, He’s That Dapper)

Had I not met Jamil in college—where he penned a hilarious weekly column about fashion for the school newspaper—I would have met him in New York. Or noticed him by virtue of the fact that street style and party photographers really like to take his picture. Jamil, who once described his look to Time Out New York as “Grandpa takes a trip, shipwrecks, and goes native,” is arguably even more interested in wearing whackadoodle colors and patterns than I am, though he knows how to temper it all down with a well-cut suit. When he’s not sitting front row at fashion shows (seriously he’s like Where’s Waldo…take a close look at Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, et al, and he’s likely there), he’s blogging over at The Noble Savage, meditating on his Master of Arts degree in American Studies from Columbia, doing freelance brand consulting for companies like Joya, or PR for the likes of Kiki de Montparnasse. In short, he’s about as delightfully random as they get. We thought it was high-time that we introduced a male voice over here at Beso (after all, the offerings from all of our retail partners cater to both sexes), so without further adieu…
