So our furniture has made it across the country (yippee!) and as I prepped our entirely empty house for its arrival today (this amounted to…doing nothing), I got to thinking about what item (of our 192!), I’m most excited to see. You know what boxes will get opened first? Not those containing my shoes, or my dresses. Instead, my heart will beat fastest for those containing our ModKats, the most genius litter box invention ever. The cattens have been using a normal litter pan for the past two weeks, and they’ve kicked litter everywhere. It’s like a permanent fountain, that I’m constantly on my hands and knees cleaning up (alas, no vacuum cleaner here yet, either). I can’t wait until those pretty little cubic ModKats contain those flailing feet once again. Truly, worth every penny.

Mmmph, We’re mixed. Marissa evangelized the Modkat to the point where we finally broke-down and bought one. Though, it also coincided with a time when letting our cat, Cooper, explore the outside (he’s typically a strict, indoor cat). Either it was the modkat or the outdoors, or a combination of them both but it caused him to make a mess in places other than his litter box. When things settle down, we’ll reintroduce the modkat.
