I’ve generally never been a huge fan of ear cuffs or those knuckle duster rings, or any jewelry that spans longer than the width of a digit or length of a lobe. But upon spotting this gorgeous 10 diamond long earring from L.A. based jeweler Jacquie Aiche yesterday, I’ve officially changed my mind. After all, why stop with a diamond stud when you can have a whole row?
The earring (yes, it comes as a single earring that you just wear on one ear and leave the other ear bare or decorated with something simple – otherwise you may end up looking like a fancy, over embellished elf) has 10 round diamonds set in 14k gold. I love how the stones are set a little askew, so even though it’s a serious piece of jewelry, it feels earthy and cool, not overly precious.
Ten diamonds don’t come cheap. This dainty bauble is definitely an investment piece to save for. Or take a cue from the style as to what kind of ear cuff to look for in order to come off as chic and feminine, rather than a sparkly Mr. Spock.
