I went to Lizzie Garrett’s poolside book party last night (have you bought Tomboy Style, yet? It’s SO GOOD.), which was lovely and festive, and thanks to some weirdly chilly LA weather, a really good opportunity to wear a light jacket. This is an opportunity I missed. And so I literally talked the coat off of Robin’s back (yes, that Robin). And man was it a coat (see bottom left): It’s from The Hellers, a line out of Tel Aviv that’s designed by Robin’s boyfriend’s sister, Dania. It’s packed with digital prints and avant-garde shapes that look surprisingly great on (you know how stuff like this can sometimes mis-fire). Robin had to pry the jacket off my back at the end of dinner, which makes me think I should buy one of my own. An investment, but the perfect weight for chilly spring evenings. I’m digging the light blue palette, me thinks.
