My Next Life Might Look An Awful Lot Like Cachette

I have some pretty intense fantasies about bailing on everything and opening a gift boutique: Stationery, jewelry, crafts, random objects that are just pretty and serve no purpose…so in my wheelhouse. I can look at this stuff—and buy this stuff—all day. Like the offerings at Cachette, a tiny, but oh-so-adorable website out of France that sells stuff that’s kind of too pretty to actually use. It’s all so perfect, don’t you think? (The owners, Stephen and Delphine, bailed on London to open their shop, which makes me all the more inclined to do the same.) What are your next life dreams? Any other wannabe boutique owners out there?
