I’ve mentioned before that I like a good bargain. Everyone does. The problem is that a lot of the time, affordable clothing is usually limited to Juniors departments and stores that cater to “teens.” I will never be in need of a crop top, hot pants, or any of the other stuff I saw 20-year-olds wearing at Coachella this year. It felt like being at a festival for runaways. But, once in a while I’ll go into a store that I “think” only caters to people who still have belly rings, and I’m pleasantly surprised. Forever 21 is one of those brands, as is Brandy Melville. I’m not saying everything is wearable past the age of 19, but I did find some great pieces that were super affordable for a lady in her 30′s and most importantly COVER YOUR PARTS.

clockwise, l-r: CAMBRIA DRESS, $42.00, Brandy Melville; EVELYN PANTS, $35.00, Brandy Melville; FLORAL SATCHEL, $49.00, Brandy Melville; STEPHANIA SWEATER, $44.00, Brandy Melville.

Brandy was started about 30 years ago by Silvio Marsan in Italy and the first store was opened by his son 15 years ago, also in Italy – not Australia. Just a helpful tip!
