First Loeffler Randall now Opening Ceremony – clearly this is the year of the handbag. Not gonna lie, I was more than a little hesitant when I first heard too-cool-for-school retailer (and one of my beloved/loathed wallet-draining shopping destinations) was set to launch an in-house handbag line. Half expecting wild prints and oddball shapes, my fears were quelled at the sight of the polished totes, satchels and bucket silhouettes done in supple materials and a sophisticated color palette – not at all whacky or impractical. Ok, I’m actually REALLY into the Tokyo tote – super sleek and spacious with leather piping to boot.
