I am referring to the limited edition Dior Tailleur Bar (that’s “bar suit” for those of us who flunked college French, ahem ahem) eye shadow palette depicting the Rene Gruau sketch of Christian Dior’s “New Look” – the fashion house’s first haute couture collection. Launched exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, each palm-sized gem is numbered, a true testament to its exclusivity and no doubt catnip for beauty die-hards. I know, right?! And I haven’t even gotten to the best part – the pastel colors are super wearable and even come with precise instructions on how to apply and combine the shades. Although, I doubt I’d ever have the nerve to deface the intricate embossing. What do you guys do with your limited edition treasures? Use them or keep them untouched as hard-won collector’s pieces?
