Pretty Much Smitten:
AlleyCat Trade

So I had dinner with my friend Brittany last night who, if she weren’t so cool and laidback, would make me feel itchily unkempt. She just always looks flawless. Case in point, she showed up to dinner with a cardigan draped effortlessly across her shoulders and a bejeweled clutch, in the shape of a change purse. Meanwhile, I was wearing about 18 layers up top (ok, four), kind of looked like Elvira, and spent a good five minutes trying to dig out my wallet (ok, find it in the first place) in my truly oversize purse. Anyway, she tipped me off to AlleyCat Trade, a new, LA-based site that traffics in impossible-to-find international labels like Alice McCall and Life With Bird (an Australian label I have loved from afar for almost a decade). The site is good: Brittany-worthy, really.  I want this skirt badly (please ignore the fact that the model clearly forgot to put on her top), and this slightly goth lace dress by Bec & Bridge.
