Pull Yourself Together:
The “Stable” Staples

I pretty much wear the same thing all the time and no one except my mother seems to have an issue with it—but she tends to have an issue with most things, so really it doesn’t even count. Now, the secret to looking somewhat put together/not depressed when you’ve been wearing the same shirt for three days is simple: Make it a classic shirt. Same goes for your jeans and jacket. You can’t go wrong. The only way you’ll be cause for concern is if you’re on day five of wearing Crocs and sweatpants. That’s when your friends will start saying patronizing things like, “Good for you” after you tell them that you’ve been thinking of buying a Kindle. Next thing you know you’re eating doughnut holes and trying on different shades of lipsticks alone in your bathroom mirror at 3am. So let’s not let it get to that point and try some of the following staples that will easily mask any form of indifference. The following items are my “roll out bed go-to’s”, including the most affordable and best fitting jeans I’ve owned in a long time. And yes, I wear denim on denim. It’s called a “Guido Tuxedo” and I stand fully behind it.
