Shopping Silverlake Online (Because Crossing L.A. Is Hard)

Clearly, I spend an inordinate amount of time online—specifically, shopping online (it’s my job people!). I do feel some pangs of guilt about visiting the websites of L.A. boutiques that I could theoretically shop in person, but everything they say about Los Angeles is true. When you live on the West side, visiting to the East side happens with the same frequency as hopping a plane to the opposite coast. It’s far. This is one of the many reasons we’ve started a new content series on Beso called Virtual Shopping Guide: First, we did NYC’s Nolita, then we did a guide for men to New York’s coolest shops, and this week, we did L.A.’s Silverlake. Essentially, they’re an online exposé of various neighborhood’s shopping treasures—so we can all participate in the plunder without buying a plane ticket. So many more are on the line-up, which makes me. so. happy! ANYWAY, I’m thinking about actually driving to Silverlake this weekend (I want to try on Warby Parker sunglasses at Confederacy), but I figured I’d pre-shop Crystal’s guide before I get int he car and go.
