Brian Atwood + IFB Evolving Influence Conference February 9th, 2011 By Mara
Dig this slideshow over on Fashionologie about Brian Atwood and his new low priced shoe line. I’m in love, must… have. Says Atwood, “I would definitely say there’s three kinds of aesthetics melted together: Upper East Side poshness, mixed with downtown cool, along with a Parisian sophistication.” Umm, dude just described me, or what I want to be when I grow up (I’ve lived in both Manhattan and Paris, and it’s safe to say I’m a true city girl). The line is set for release in mid-August, so stay tuned.
In other news, I want to live in the W Hotel and the IFB Evolving Influence Fashion Bloggers Conference is tomorrow. IFB and Mac & Milk Studios are hosting it, and I can’t wait. I will be sad to leave NY on Friday, but looking forward to some good LA sunshine (I heard it’s 71° and sunny today, a whole lot more tolerable than 18° and whipping wind tunnels).
Here are a few photos from my trip so far…

Now and Later: Seeing Red This Fall September 19th, 2009 By Jenna

Leighton Meester at Teen Choice Awards in Brian Atwood Heels
People StyleWatch recommends red accessories as a trend to “Buy Now, Wear Now (And Later!)” in their August 2009 issue and they featured Vince Camuto’s Paloma peep-toe heels. We love the way that a pair of bright red heels can brighten up any neutral outfit currently in your closet to make it fresh and current. Look no further than Gossip Girl queen bee Leighton Meester for inspiration. Her Brian Atwood red platform heels provided a great accent to the black & white ensemble she wore to the Teen Choice Awards.
Go Wild with Leopard Heels September 16th, 2009 By Jenna

Brian Atwood Lola "Shooties"
Rachel Zoe, stylist to the Olsen twins and Hollywood starlets Keira Knightley and Anne Hathaway, chose to highlight a pair of leopard print “shooties” for her first Zoe Report. These Brian Atwood heels hit many trends at once, but the leopard print is what really caught our eye. You can find leopard print heels at any price level and different heel heights. We like the BCBGeneration Tinas platform pump. Wear them with a pair of dark distressed jeans for a night out. No need to match your handbag to your shoes, these heels are hot enough to stand on their own.
