Bag It: Matt & Nat Handbags August 15th, 2010 By

Matt & Nat handbags marry cutting-edge design and social responsibility.  It was one of the first brands to launch an eco-friendly handbag collection before it became fashionable.  Creative director Inder Bedi believes you should not have to make a choice between being chic and being responsible, and I agree.  Here are a few of my favorites out right now:

Bag It: Stella McCartney Falabella Chain Link Tote June 30th, 2010 By

Stella McCartney‘s glam ‘green’ bags make us look good and feel good, too. Her eco-friendly collection refuses to use animal products. In spite of her leather-free collection, they still manage to hold their own alongside other designer handbags.

The Stella McCartney Falbella Chain Link Tote (as seen on Rihanna and Leona Lewis) could be the perfect bag for a glam goddess.  This large, dusty pink tote is made from a crackle-coated cotton material topped with a brilliant metallic sheen.  The detailing, with chunky silver chain link trim around the edges and straps, is right on trend and plays true to McCartney’s rock ‘n roll heritage.
