The Nesting Spot: A Reader’s Nook June 9th, 2010 By

If you’re like me, you love to read. When I can actually find the time to dive into a new book or the latest magazine, I also try to maximize the relaxation factor. I first adjust the lights and get comfortable — slippers on, check. Then I get cozy with my favorite throw and settle in with a hot cup of tea to sip while reading. Below are some of the things I’ve been eyeing that would make my reader’s nook extra-fabulous:

1. An Amazon Kindle. Download books in under 60 seconds with 3G wireless technology.

2. The BedLounge is one of the best pillow supports I’ve ever seen. Also called a “husband pillow,” it has extra pockets to store books or stash some chocolate and hand cream. This is your own time to relax and unwind, so why not indulge and soften your skin while you’re busy reading? Fresh Sugar Blossom Hand Treatment is my very favorite hand cream. Just a little dab takes wrinkled, dry skin — and years of age — off my hands.

3. A soft chenille throw. Ultra-luxe chenille throws can be used year-round to keep you warm. You can never have too many around the house!
