Sure, it’s a cart/horse situation (designers and labels must clearly be planting seeds in my head), but I really just want things that are floral…convenient, because there’s a lot of it! And I want to wear those florals layered on top of each other. (This shouldn’t be a problem so long as there’s a difference in scale—one tiny print, one huge print—and some shared neutral background.) To that end, I’ve made a whole floral-themed collection, which I’ll be adding to ad nauseum as designers unleash more and more of their spring looks. Btw, did you know that you can organize your shopping finds into collections on Beso? It takes about two seconds, and is a great visual reminder of everything you’re considering buying.

Camouflage is back for fall, and I could not be happier!  It’s a print that you either hate to love or just altogether hate.  I have always been drawn to camouflage, however, and am excited to see it incorporated into more designer collections.  It’s fascinating to watch such a universal print hit the runway, land in fashion magazines, and become one of the latest trends in handbags and accessories.  Camouflage handbags look great with earth tones and can be worn both day and night.  They look especially good with a pair of dark skinny jeans and boots.  If you’re considering  adding a little camouflage to your fall wardrobe, I found some great options on beso!

Eyewear can become the focal point of any outfit and are a spring essential.  From oversized tortoise shades to matte black plastic aviators, there are so many stylish choices out this season.  Here are some useful tips for how to wear the latest styles to flatter your face shape.

Almost any style can flattering on an oval face as long as the proportions are right.  My favorite are the Stella McCartney plastic square sunglasses, as square shaped frames with gently rounded edges look especially glamorous on an oval face.

The Tory Burch classic cat eye frames have a curvy style that flatters a square face. Classic oval, round shape, and cat-eye sunglasses are the most flattering options.

The key to choosing sunglasses for a heart-shaped face is to balance out a wider forehead with a more narrow chin. I like the purple Carrera Dakar sunglasses.

If you have a round face, then it’s best to avoid sunglasses with round frames. Try on rectangular styles to balance the proportions.  We like the Tory Burch oversized square frames.
