UK based line Tata Naka – the name is derived from the twin sister design duo’s childhood nicknames – touts some of the hands down best prints out there (all produced in-house, mind you). And there’s nothing overly-trendy or predictable about them. Inspired by the vibrant colors and shapes of African culture and the styling of Motown’s shining stars (think The Supremes and Diana Ross), the Fall 2012 collection is nothing short of breathtaking. Oh, and let’s not forget the peekaboo mesh cutouts and tribal embellishments – they’re pretty rad, too. Now, by no means is this stuff cheap (the prices below are converted from the British pound sterling) and I can only imagine what the shipping/duties costs will amount to, so here’s hoping the line comes stateside…FAST.
