Sure, you’re years and years out of academia, but it doesn’t mean the bag you toted for a decade or more isn’t something you can just drop and leave behind. These backpacks are cool for school, but they’re also great for overnighters, weekend trips, outdoor concert festivals, hiking…it goes on. I’m buying one for my earthquake survival kit (#WorriedLosAngeles) to stuff with water bottles, a change of clothes and other essentials in the case that “the big one” hits or we fall into the Pacific (flotation device?). HA!
