Vintage Posters: VEPCA, Voila Gallery, Pullman Editions, Deyrolle

Everytime I’m at a tradeshow–whether’s it’s the Gift Show in New York, or Dwell on Design—I always gravitate toward the vendors who deal in vintage posters. VEPCA was at the latter last weekend, and I found myself sifting through the stacks looking for…something. While I left empty-handed, they have a fairly easy-to-shop site, which is organized by category. Since they’re original, they come with heftier price-tags, but they’re graphic and large enough to hold an entire wall together. Meanwhile, over at Pullman Editions, they’re doing Art Deco-inspired posters in editions of 280 that are slightly easier on the wallet. And if you like antique charts, Voila Gallery has them in spades—it looks, from their site like they’re reproductions that come framed. For smaller-scale prints, it’s always worth going straight to the source: Deyrolle in Paris.
