Heads up, parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles/gift givers of notoriously hard-to-please middle schoolers! Yoyamart, NYC’s super cool shop that appeals to the cool kid in all of us, is having one of their infamous sales (up to 70% off!) all week until Labor Day. It’s hard not to go completely crazy—the impressive on-trend edit by shop owners Stephane Gerbier and his lovely wife Gina, is beyond. Yoyamart offers fun, edgy yet appropriate answers to your ever-more sophisticated tween’s wardrobe quandries, from cool street wear and gear to the latest kicks and backpacks to glamorous party clothes straight from hard-to-find-in-the-States European lines. Head over to the Meat Packing district with your brood in tow (Yoyamart of course stocks clothes and shows for the super short set), and check out the cool vinyl toys, books and magazines, modern furniture and wardrobe must-haves. The store will have more of the sale items but some items are available online. Below are a few things (on sale and not on sale) I wish came in my size….
