24 hours of care for your hair

You don't need to have great genes to have great hair: Taking proper care of your locks can give you a shiny healthy mane—extensions not required. Fekkai Glossing Shampoo

This is a great color-safe shampoo good for everyday use. It contains olive oil—so it hydrates and locks stay lustrous.

Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Shampoo

Once a week, use a shampoo designed to remove build-up. This one is off the charts. Oil to remove oil? An emphatic yes: It hydrates the scalp all while regulating the pH balance. It's like a facial for your hair.

Davines Love Lovely Smoothing Conditioner

This light formula is great for daily use. It softens and eliminates frizz, leaving bouncy hair behind.

Fekkai Advanced Shea Ultra Rich Mask

A few times a week apply the mask. (And yes, in place of conditioner.) Shea butter is nourishing and can masquerade as conditioner. Make sure to squeeze the water out of your hair before applying, smear all over and leave on for 5 minutes.

Sally Hershberger Hyper Hydration Keratin Spray

Use after shower on damp hair. Keratin strengthens and moisturizes—essential to protecting hair from heat. Bonus: You can spray it on dry hair to refresh a blowout.

Sally Hershberger Hyper Hydration Super Argan Oil

This protects your ends from damage, smoothes and gives shine. No need to use too much, a little goes along way. Apply it to your ends—when we say ends in the hair business, we mean ALL of your ends. If you have layers in your hair, apply where they end, too.

[ bedtime ]

Charmeuse Silk Pillowcase

Wrap your hair in a smooth silk scarf or use a silk pillowcase. Silk prevents friction while we sleep, therefore preventing knots and breakage. It really is the best overnight protection for healthy hair.

Living Foods Coconut Oil

This is natural and really is the best moisturizer for your hair. Put it in your microwave for 10 seconds with the lid off; use fingertips to apply to your ends. Wrap hair up in a clip (NO hair ties). Leave on for a minimum of 20 minutes or if you can deal, all night. Your hair with thank you and you will feel like you are sleeping in a tropical paradise.
