When you're one-half of the creative force behind inspired and adventurous Wildfox Couture, you need to stay ready for, well, inspiration and adventure. EMILY FAULSTICH, who co-founded the label with childhood BFF KIMBERLEY GORDON in 2007, has taken the brand from cheeky graphic tees and sweats to a full-blown collection that sparks cult-like obsession across the globe.
Here, the 16 things that keep Emily Faulstich inspired and ready for action.

Want Les Essentiels de la Vie Heathrow Bag
My bag itself is a simple big black tote. I bought it as a carry-on bag but I ended up using it every day.
- 2
Canon 5D Mark II
I take this almost everywhere, since it's my favorite hobby to take pictures of all the places I go and all the little things I think are beautiful. I love setting up still lifes and dream of being a travel photographer—or a still life photographer for magazines.

A Book
I have so many favorite books, and I find it comforting to carry one around. Some great books I have come to love are The Principles of Uncertainty by Maria Kalman (who is incredible), White Oleander by Janet Finch (I love how she describes Los Angeles), The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and I just bought Lolita, which is a bit intense but very well written.

Moroccanoil Light Oil
I wish they made a perfume of this stuff: It smells like Hawaii, and summer, and warm nights. It also makes your hair silky and light. A little goes a long way. It's kind of nice as body oil also, just as you get out of the shower.

Tiny Louis Vuitton Compact Wallet
I got a little wallet from Louis Vuitton on a business trip with my initials engraved on it. I love monogrammed things and this is the only wallet I haven't gotten tired of. It fits most things, including a picture of my husband and a glamour shot I took of myself dressed as Harry Potter.
- 6
Aquaphor Original Ointment
When we shot our Summer campaign with Charlotte Free I asked her what her favorite beauty products were and she said that Aquaphor is the best secret. I carry around a huge jar of it and put it on my lips all day: It's made them super soft.

Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones
These headphones feel like pillows on your ears. They are so soft and cushioned and great for traveling.
- 8
Dermalogica Active Moist Moisturizer
Such a good lotion: It feels so nice and hydrating but not oily.
- 9
Wildfox Praire Rose Tank—White Label
This is one of my favorite pieces we have made: I wear it all the time tucked into a white skirt or pants.
- 10
Apple iPad
I listen to a lot of podcasts (Ricky Geravis) and I love watching movies in line at the airport or on long flights. Right now I've got all the episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm on there, which is really good at cheering me up if I'm stuck in a long customs line, which seems to happen a lot!
- 11
Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens
Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens are really perfect for everything. I love drawing with these or making to do lists: They make a clean line and don't smudge.
- 12
Pellegrino Bottled Water
I drink more Pelligrino than anybody on earth, I think. It might be a problem.
- 13
Baggu Bags
I found this little leather pouch at a store called Broome Street General Store. It's perfect for makeup, or change, or film.
- 14
Nars Laguna Bronzer
I love everything from Nars because the packaging is so simple and nice. This bronzer is really natural looking, and I use it as eyeshadow also.
- 15
YSL Rouge Pur Lipstick
My favorite color is Rouge Pur 22. You can wear it with no makeup on and it's not overwhelming. At least I think so—or I might look crazy in it and nobody is saying anything.

Canson Basic Sketchbook
Almost every night I sit at the cafe down the street and draw. I have a little world of tiny characters who I use in a series—they have funny googly eyes and sometimes wear pajama pants. I want to make a children's book of them having
little adventures.
