These are an investment, but the classic shape, neutral color, and impeccable construction are worth it. Plus, I can be wearing a seriously frumpy outfit, throw these on, and feel immediately polished and put together.

I've never been much a jeans girl, but this style changed everything for me. They're loose enough so you don't look like you're in sausage casing, but not so baggy people will wonder if you stole them from your boyfriend. Bonus: they look just as good with flats as they do with heels.
