When we heard the word "brillionaire" we immediately needed to know more. So we turned to the brillionaire herself, HEATHER CATANIA. Loosely defined, the term describes anyone who is hell-bent on innovation in any field—and wants to look damn good while doing it. Catania herself wears many hats: She produces fashion shoots, she casts TV shows (The Conversation?! Hello!), and she runs TheBrillionaire.com. In short, she gives unmotivated souls a seriously motivational kick in the pants.
Here, the 15 things that keep Heather Catania firing on all cylinders.
- 1
Action Journal
The word "action" alone prompts me to get my sh*t together. The colored tabs on every page makes it super easy to organize my workload.

Polaroid 600 Camera
I got this camera when I was working at Conde Nast as a Bookings Editor, back in the day when models would come by on "Go-Sees" and I would wallpaper my office with Polaroids of faces I loved, floor to ceiling. Before Polaroid went out of business, I bought all of the film I could get my hands on. I still take Polaroids of the new models or actors I meet.

LNA Basics
I live in LNA. I am so low maintenance in a world where everyone takes 10 years to get ready. I'm so busy my wardrobe solely consists of items that can literally be thrown on, then go from Zero to Insta-Amazing in under 60 seconds.

Rose-Quartz Crystals
These crystals are more commonly known as "love stones," as they send a soothing vibration throughout the room where they're located. I keep rose-quartz crystals all around my workspace and home, so I feel nothing but calm, loving energy—A.K.A. toxic sh*t-talkers are not welcome!

Oribe Dry Texturizer and Shampoo
Wash your hair? EVERY DAY? Come on, now. What bona-fide working girl actually has the time?
- 6
RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
This Luminizer hooks my skin up with a legit GLOW, prompting almost everyone I come in contact with to ask if I've just had a facial. I politely say No, I've just had a triple shot soy latte and 3 hours of sleep— but thanks for the compliment!

Alexander Wang Jane Soulder Bag
My bag always looks like Radio Shack: Cameras, iPods, iPhones, headphones, mini HD video cameras, and all of their respective power cords. I need a LOT of space. This bag is big enough to tote all my gadgets, and still look damn good doing so.

Hello Giggles
This one stop "neo- chick lit" shop covers all the bases—boy bands, teen novels, nail art, and YouTube karaoke. Hello Giggles is pretty much all over my browser at any given moment. I work my ass off, and then I take a "giggle" break. Repeat.

French Navy Stationery
I write thank you notes for everything. I am a firm believer in Gratitude. E-mail can be soooo unromantic. I also believe in physical mail. A Thank You note will ALWAYS trump a Con-Ed Bill.
- 11
Soul Cycle
I realized last year that I don't work out for my body, I work out for my head. The hot bod just comes as a karmic bonus. This is the hour out of my day where I am going the distance, pushing my physical limits, and getting high on my own endorphins. Also, I love spinning in 100-degree heat to a crazy Aussie instructor who can pedal harder than any of us while simultaneously rapping Eminem in a sports bra.

Sixteen Candles DVD
Most people say "all I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten," but everything I really need to know, I learned from Sixteen Candles. Example: 1) Never take prescription meds before a wedding. 2) Always keep your eye on the prize.
- 13
Macbook Air
My partner in crime, second runner up to my boyfriend, pseudo soul mate. iPad's are for suckers.
- 14
Pressed Juicery
I am addicted to Greens 2, the Detox 3 (grapefruit + mint), the Coconut Cinnamon— I could go on.

The Firestarter Sessions
Danielle LaPorte is a rare genius. She is one of my mentors; I call her "a spiritual anarchist." Her book is a game-changer, and the Holy Grail for any creative career driven mastermind.
