all-natural beauty products I can't live without

As Beso Contributing Editor—and City of Style author—MELISSA MAGSAYSAY steers her way toward her due date, she's been slowly transitioning her beauty regimen to the all-natural end of the spectrum. (Save for a few items from Clarins that she can't live without.) As a long-time style and beauty writer, she's pretty much tested it all—and has found that a handful of paraben and chemical-free formulas are so effective, she doesn't know why she was messing around with the not-so-natural stuff in the first place.

Here, the 14 all-natural beauty items that Melissa Magsaysay swears by.

  • 1

Tarte Lip Surgence Natural Lip Stain

A lip stain that isn't super drying? Yes please! This stuff stays put without making my usually dry lips flake or look awkwardly uneven in color.

  • 2

    Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Cleanser

I can stand by every single thing Caudalie makes, but to keep it simple this is my absolute favorite. This deep cleansing exfoliator isn't so aggressive that it will leave your face red and blotchy, but it's got tiny beads that gently slough away dead skin making it look glowy and freshly scrubbed.

  • 3

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Ultra-Hydrating Body Butter

My skin is so parched and generally impervious to even the heaviest moisturizer. But this lightly scented soufflé style lotion actually works and keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day long.

  • 4

Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Stingray

I consider myself an eyeliner connoisseur and the Stila Smudge Sticks are the best. They don't fade, bleed or run and come in super fun colors.

  • 5

Dr. Hauschka powder blush in Soft Terracotta

A universally flattering color that instantly warms up the skin and leaves a nice, natural flush on cheeks.

  • 6

    Arcona Lightening Drops

Some stubborn sunspots have magically appeared on my cheekbones over the past couple of years and I will try anything (ok, maybe not anything) to lighten them up a bit. These amber colored drops work gradually to diminish hyper pigmentation without any crazy chemical peel tactics.

  • 7

Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream

My usually non-sensitive skin has been a little reactive lately, so I've switched to this light and simple lotion. It provides a lot of moisture without irritating pores or leaving me with little red bumps.

  • 8

    Liz Earle Skin Tint

I started using the Cleanse and Polish face wash from this UK-based line a year ago and quickly got hooked on the herbal, aromatherapy-scented stuff. They launched a tinted moisturizer last fall and like the skin care products, it's light and all natural—plus, it delivers really even color and coverage that's perfect for everyday use.

  • 9

    Sara Happ Lip Slip

After years of carrying around 3 to 4 lip balms and glosses at a time, I've managed to pare it down to just this one. It's intensely moisturizing and makes lips look super plump and shiny with a subtle pink tint.

  • 10

Ren Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask

This is myy super secret weapon before a big event or when I need to look like I've gotten adequate sleep. I slather on this tingly mask and wash it off minutes later to reveal supple, glowing, radiant skin (it may not be permanent, but I'll take what I can get).

    11

    Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Serum

I'm pretty convinced that this stuff is effectively keeping fine lines at bay, but mostly it feels really great on the skin (under moisturizer) just out of the shower and before bed. Besides a little moisture boost, it makes skin look smooth and even.

    Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser

This is a great everyday cleanser that's also really well priced. It takes off makeup (even all of my eyeliner and mascara) and does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry.

  • 13

Tom's of Maine Antiplaque and Whitening Fluoride Free Natural Toothpaste

Yes, I consider toothpaste part of my beauty regimen, especially when it effectively whitens my teeth. I love how clean and light Tom's of Maine feels while brushing and the flavors never taste artificial or sweet.

    Clarisonic Mia

OK, so there are obviously no parabens or chemicals going on with this little contraption, but I can't resist an opportunity to sing its praises: It works particularly well with the Neutrogena face wash.
