As a producer at ABC's 20/20, SHANA DRUCKERMAN spends a lot of time on the road—not only interviewing the subjects of her pieces, but following them through their lives with a camera on her shoulder. She is ably competent—and used to traveling with things in tow—which arguably made motherhood a tad bit easier. We asked her for all the things that make life with her toddler son a bit more manageable.
Here, Shana Druckerman's 11 working mom must-haves.
- 1
Tea Collection Boy's Tees
I love this kid's clothing line. It's great quality, fits well, and the designs are always modern and fun.
- 2
Tubtrug Containers
I found these in the Miami kid's store Genius Jones and fell in love. These colorful buckets keep the toy area tidy, but also allow him easy access.
- 3
Virginia Johnson Shawls
My friend and queen of all things cool (also a Beso contributor) Emily Hsieh, turned me onto these shawls. When I don't have time to think about accessories, I throw on one of these and voila!

Camelbak Water Bottles
Everyone in our house carries one of these. The easy flip top keeps things neat, and there's a huge bonus: My son thinks it's a toy and can sit there flipping it up and down all day. When we're traveling, we can all share one.
- 5
Mammut Backpack
After a year plus of carrying my son in an Ergo infant carrier, I realized the benefit of hands free living. This backpack has a low profile, comfy padding, and I love the side pockets. It's great for work, and works for play!

Le Creuset Round French Oven
I love to cook for my son, but coming home from work and starting a meal isn't always feasible. I use this french oven at least once a week to make something yummy, for the week.

Zoo Train & Peekaboo Barn iPad Apps
Like most toddlers, my son is a complete electronic addict. I'm not proud, but 'iPad' was one of his first words. I feel only a little bit better feeding his addiction with apps like Zoo Train and Peekaboo Barn… super cute and educational (sorta).

Sony NEX-7
I don't know how I let my husband convince me we needed another camera in the house, but as soon as I saw the slick new SONY NEX-7 I was an instant fan. I can use this to shoot stills and video for work… and to capture every crazy song and dance my son comes up with.

MAC Red Lipstick & Shiseido Eyelash Curler
I couldn't help but be inspired covering the story of blogger Stephanie Nielson. One of the many things she taught me was to embrace bold, red lips. Now on days when I'm dragging a bit, red lipstick and a trusty eyelash curler make me feel slightly more human.
- 10
OXO Whale Pail
After a long day at work, I cherish bath time with my son. The whale pail doubles as a bath toy holder and as scoop when it's time to rinse my little guy off.

Silpat Baking Mats
I'm a stress baker. When I'm on deadline, I break out these mats. Working late into the night is always better in the company of freshly baked cookies.
