Elise: Hi, I'm Elise, the editor-in-chief of beso.com, the site devoted to shopping. Today, we're going to show you three ways to wear shorts.

Elise: Shorts can be a little difficult for women to wear. When you're shopping for them, make sure that you're trying out different lengths. When you're in the dressing room, just raise and lower that hem and see how it looks with your knee and your thigh.

I prefer a longer short. Diana likes shorter shorts. You can always hem them. You can always cuff them. Don't treat them as a precious thing.

In this first look, Diana is wearing cut-offs. She can obviously wear them as is. She is trying to winterize the look, so she has added some dark tights and a little jacket and a sweatshirt. That's another trick if you want to conceal your legs, consider layering the shorts over a pair of stockings.

In this next look, Diana's wearing a pair of graphic, high-waisted shorts. High-waisted shorts are a great option if you don't have super long legs because these will automatically give you extra inches. They make your waist just a few inches higher. The graphic print is great because it's actually disguising. Even though it draws attention to that part of your body, you can't really see what's going on.

In our final look, Diana's wearing colorful shorts which she's matched to her top to create a monochromatic look. It approximates a suit or a romper, and it's just a more interesting take on a straight-forward pair of shorts.

Thanks so much for watching. For more tips and tricks, come hang out with us at beso.com.
